To provide an educational forum for dance students and dance educators as they develop an appreciation for the art form of dance through collaborative dance creation, performance and workshops

Come and Observe Live DANCE Performances of Original Choreography created by Secondary School students from across the province ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL DANCEFEST 2020

Thursday, May 7th &/or Friday, May 8th

The Ontario Curriculum, Grades 1-8 – THE ARTS-OVERALL EXPECTATIONSStudents will:
A2. Reflecting, Responding,and Analyzing: apply the critical analysis process to communicate their feelings,ideas, and understandings in response to a variety of dance pieces and experiences.

A Google Form to be used as assessment of students’ Observations of Live DANCE Performance will be provided by OSSDF.

OSSDF 2019 MOST INSPIRING SCHOOLBased on Technical and Artistic evaluations of 5 performance marks Holy Names High School, Windsor

Teachers are invited to sign students up to:
*Observe Live Dance -- 1:30am - 12:00pm
*Enjoy a Pizza Lunch -- 12:00pm - 1:00pm
*Participate in a DANCE workshop -- 1:00pm - 2:15pm
60 minute Hip Hop or Jazz or Lyrical or Tap Workshop followed by a Q&A

Cost: $25/Student
